SRC Eindhoven celebrated the tenth edition of the Suzuka Double Digital event on January 25-26, 2025. An international roster of drivers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Great Britain took to the track to battle for glory in two GT3 Interseries races on Saturday and the traditional six hours WEC event on Sunday.

The GT3 racing was close as ever, with Slotracefriends (BEL) and K-9 (ITA) giving the most consistently strong performances. Neither would win a race, however, with spoils of race one going to ProSpeed (DEU) and the race two victory going to the home team DTS (NLD). Of note was the new Porsche 992 of 201 Slotcars, taking part in its first race as a newly homologated DiSCA GT3.

On Sunday the WEC grid was determined by hundredths of seconds with both Cadillac V-Series R of DTS and K-9, and the Peugeot 9×8 of DSCA and Slotracefriends establishing themselves at the sharp end of the grid. In LMP2 ProSpeed Academy were punching well above their weight and dropping in and out of third place overall for the duration of the six hours. The Germans would win the LM P2 category convincingly ahead of Bertrand’s Angels, who showed well in Rockingham last year.

Slipstream team H&B started very strongly with their new Corvette C8.R in LM GT, but faded as the car lost pace throughout the race. The GT category victory would be taken by Slotracefriends Junior team with the Sideways F488.

The overall victory was edged out by DTS, with a margin of 23 laps to DSCA. K-9 lost a wheel after a collision with a back marker during the closing stages, slipping to fourth overall behind Prospeed’s LM P2 but retaining third in the Hypercar category.
