Falcon Raceway will host it’s first open digital race event, in Basildon, Essex, on 10th September.
The Falcon Raceway club is a bi-weekly gathering of racers who enjoy competition on customised modular routed tracks using the Scalextric Sport Digital system.
This event will focus on racing modified Scalextric Ford Taurus inline NASCARS refinished in awesome 2015 sprint cup paint schemes.
Visiting drivers will be racing with a group of experienced digital racers using SSDC software with fuel simulation.
All equipment will be provided including the use of Truspeed controllers.
Racing for the day will be £10.00, subsidised by the club to promote digital slot car racing. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places.
We will also be running support races using car categories including 3DTM (Carrera with slotit chassis & running gear) and Racer Sideways Daytona Prototypes.
The event wil be held at St. Martins church hall in Basildon town centre. There is plenty of free parking and the venue is located next to M&S food hall. There will also be free tea & coffee!
