8th ed. Le Mans 24 hours

The registration process for the 2019 Le Mans 24 hours has been announced.

The dates for the race will be 6th-7th April 2019. As usual the circuit will be open for free practice and night time qualifying on the preceding Friday.

Eligible cars for this year’s event will be LMP cars 2010-2018 and GT cars 2012-2018 that have race in the Le Mans 24 hours during the period. The official source of reference will be the website racingsportscars.com*
There are a couple of changes to the 2019 technical formula which are described in brief;

  • Maximum axel width for all cars is now 63.0mm. Rules on scale bodywork +/-3.0mm still apply
  • All LMP1 and LMP2 cars minimum weights are now 17.5g body, 69.0g total
  • All LM GT cars minimum weights are now 19.0g body, 72.0g total

The choice of car must be specified at the time of registration, but may be changed up until the final payment is made prior to January 31st.

Entry fees
The entry fee is £225.00 with a deposit of £25.00 required at the time of registration to secure a place. The entry form does not contain a checkout and all payments must be made manually. Details are provided on the form.
